trying to find Sparco style hood pins in black.
no ghetto APC type @!#$, I want something quality. I'd buy the Sparco but they only come in silver, blue or red
I'm not concerned with price as long as I find what I want.
I just got my sparco hood pins powder coated black (they were the silver ones)
^^ how do they come apart to powdercoat them? casue the pins don't come out.
those huge ass ones I don't want, I don't have the balls to hack out 2 big ass holes in my hood.
that second link with the black ones on top, I like those alot but I don't liek that they aren't the sparco style. I like the sparco style becasue noone can pull the pins out and steal them.
same ones i have, i could never find them in black. had to be stuck with silver.

they won't work anyways. kyle (rawkfist) got them and had to go a different route because they are flat and the hood isn't.
which ever way you go i think you should get the "lanyards" and run them down through the front bumper area (aka cuda style!)

I had a set of the sliver Sparco's and had them powder coated black. It created a silver wear line where the pin slid up and down. It was the best thing i could think up without buying a cheap ass POS brand.
you can find a flush hood pin with a lock and key at autozone...

They make one in red and blue but don't make a set in black??....that's @!#$ stupid.

I had those Ebay ones and during installation and lining everything thing up I lightly closed the hood to see how close the end of the pin was to the locking mechanism and it busted. The most cheesey poorly constructed pins I have ever seen. Don't waste your money on those.
meh i've had em for a year now and have never had a problem with em to each their own i guess

dam.......those are nice! i have the spark style now and i cant say im a huge fan of them... are those ones difficult to install beyond having to trip teh hole in the hood a bit bigger? does the flat found piece glue onto the hood? or how does that work? I may change mine now after seeing those ones!
I got the Momo's on my hood.
Stainless steel construction and never any rust, ever.
Good luck in finding some good hoodpins.
