why does the car need to be "slammed" to show the fenders?

no springs that you get are going to require you to need a flared fender unless your putting air ride on your car.

I wouldn't be too sure of that, I have seen alot of darkstars pictures autocrossing, and I am sure that it does help,

I still haven't talked to my buddy about getting me toyo stuff yet (imports cars in containers, so shipping would be free, or close to it),
thanks for the reminder,

well not slammed but about a four inch drop and possibly in the future an air ride system

I measured the difference between the two and the toyota fenders are about 3/8" wider each side. There close to that anyways .I just laid them down on the floor next to each other and used a tape measurer

when I tried to buy them through GM parts dirrect they were like250 for the pair... Untill you check out and they added $150 for EACH fender to get shipped. It ended up 550ish going through them, @!#$ them

Try GM Cheap Parts Online, I just ordered my set from them for $320 shipped and I got them in like 4 days. And as Ryan said GM Parts Direct sucks with shipping thats the only reason I don't ever order from them

Thats fine, I got mine through gm dealership and the $350 is what I paid for it all. Still have the receipts. I wasnt standing to make any money just helping a fellow j- member out. I wont be able to get to the fenders for a while, better I see them on someone elses car rather than taking up room and dust

how often do you have to get new cvs?
Re: toyota fenders

riding that low i would say no more than 6 months. when i was bagged it only took me a year to go thru my first one and i wasnt even as low as you want to go. riding around that low is gonna wear out alot of things not to mention with the strut being that compressed it has no where to rebound.
