I need to have my windshield replaced this week. Anyone know what this should cost me?
in what??? i had a quote done for my sedan a month or so ago. and it was 136 bucks. and got a quote for a chevy truck for 125. it really depends on what it is. if its the s10 prolly 125-150 is my guess.

I called them up and told them I was looking for a quote,when they told me 250 i sounded disapointed and told the guy thanks for your help and he stopped me from hanging up asking if i had gotten a cheaper quote elsewhere, i said yes and gave him a few names of places in my areas ,and the prices the cheapest price I made up at 170-180 pluse cost of warrenty ect ect...aso it would be about 250+ with all +tax
he told me to hold the line he was gonna talk to his boss,came back and quoted me 195 total, they came to me and installed it in my lot seeing as i couldnt drive to them (passenger airbag killed my windshield) took them about a half hour or so..
if you have any know how on how to do it yourself or know anyone who does ya can always try to do it yourself.. whinsheilds onl;y run about 30-40 from a u pull it..
a job like that runs around 250-300 around here. also, at my junkyard theyre like $100.

a lot of the times when you try to actually take a windshield out the glass ends up breaking at some point during the un-install so gageing weather or not you can snag up a used one is certainly a good question. check around in your local salvage yards to see if they can do it...
me personally, ive had to pay to have a brand new w/s installed in a cavalier, i believe it was something like $185 or abouts fully installed. but that was like 5 years ago so im sure its got to be more expensive now.

i had a place come to my house while i was at work and do the windshield in my integra before. i think it cost me just short of 200
In KY, insurance does it for free... Something to do with state laws and safety hazards...

i went there and did the same thing...they said 260... but got it for 190.......
umm bout 4 months ago.. came to where my car was and havent had a problem....took bout 30 minutes...
