hey im looking to switch to h.i.d.s. just wondering if anyone has had problems with hid kits burning out the existing wires and wireing harnesses or is this a myth? any pointers? thanks!!

get a good kit with a relay harness.


and you wont have any problems (besides maybe getting pulled over....)

i would recomend doing a projector retrofit while you are at it.

I got a set off of the dreaded ebay, after seeing another members post and finding out the information. If memory serves me correctly it was less then $100.00 shipped, but this won't be my daily driver so it was a good enough set for me. If you need anymore information on a kit like this search for Chazz he may be able to help you.

The install was rather simple, plug and play with an existing projector set, however one of the wires had to be actually ran backwards... go figure.
