Im going to need a front bumper and fender and was wondering if the bumpers and/or fenders were the same all the way from 96-02. And also if it matter if the vehicle is a coupe/sedan.
I doubt the headlights changed but if they did for any reason, that would be nice to know too. Thanks everyone.
95-02 is the same.

no, 95-99 SE and GT, 00-02 SE and GT, then the 03-05. But your right on the fenders.
The front bumpers are different as follows:
95 - 99 Sunfire GT Coupe
95 - 99 Sunfire SE Coupe and Sedan
00 - 02 Sunfire GT Coupe
00 - 02 Sunfire SE Coupe and Sedan
03 - 05 Sunfire Coupe and Sedan [Canada only]
All the front bumpers are interchangeable between Coupes and Sedans. Depending on what bumper you have and what bumper you switch to you may need a crush guard, wheel well liner extensions, turn signals, fog lights and / or grille inserts.
All the fenders are the same from 95 - 05 and are also interchangeable between Coupes and Sedans.
The headlights are the same from 95 - 02 and 03 - 05.

Hard to imagine the fenders are all the same. I thought the 03-05 headlights would have messed that sequence up or something.

The headlights don't come into contact with the fenders, only the front bumper does, therefore the fenders are indeed the same for all 95 - 05 Sunfire Coupes and Sedans.
Well from what I have looked for online so far (with everything closed) the 00-02 GT is expensive IMO.
I glanced at the SE 97 (What I should have) and dear god no. As long as I get a 00+ Im happy lol.
The 00-02 GT is an extremely expensive bumper... I was gonna get one until I found out they were $300+ unpainted. I have a 97 as well, and while I don't mind the 95-99 SE bumper, it's pretty plain.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to even find a '00-'02 Sunfire GT front bumper and when you do they are pretty pricey. I got really lucky and snagged a brand new one off eBay last year for about $200 including shipping. It's sitting in my basement as we speak

From what I can tell, the 95-99 do not have the grill between the headlights.
Thats why I dont like them. I want that grill.

everyone is gonna like their own style...i LOVE mine. i havent really loked at any others ones. I just know that the rears on them all are ugly as sin no matter what year they are...even mine.

Hood, fender (which were the same color as the car) headlight, and bought a 00-02 front bumper cover.
Im glad I looked at the reinforcement crap behind the cover. Its different on the 00-02. So I got ahold of one of those at the yard too.
And I was sure that the bumper cover new wouldnt come with the fogs or grill, so I snagged those at the yard as well.

Awesome! So, did you get a 2000 - 2002 GT or SE front bumper? I definitely want to see pictures when it's all done.
Well I was dumb enough to not take pics of the car when I 1st bought it, but I text the chick I bought it from to send me the pics she had.
Ill take some when I work on it again. All I did was switch the fender and hood.
And its the 00-02 SE bumper. Im happy with purchasing that at $40 bucks new lol.
