so im looking at a bomber kit from ED. The problem is i live in Connecticut where the hills and potholes are pretty bad. i just want to know how they stand up against the environment. ill probably be doing alot of bottom scraping...

duraflex is basically just fiberglass that has an additive in it that gives it a little more flexibility than normal...but not much. It will stick crack if you scrape the road or hit pot holes, etc.

Not sure how low the bomber front end sits, but most front ends I've had so far (Evo5, Drift, and Blitz) have all scraped at some point, even with careful driving at a stock ride height. The drift sides are also pretty low sitting..as far as the door caps, those are no longer made, and I do not believe they will be included from ED. Check ebay, every once and a while a set appears on there, or check the classifieds here on the org....or fab up some your self, they're not all that hard to make.

Yes urethane is much stronger and will take a little more abuse - just remember though it will fracture if hit hard enough, and urethane is much more difficult to repair. The pther benefit urethane has over fiberglass is that you don't have to worry about any stress cracks forming which will help preserve your paint job. Most fiberglass, no matter how well taken care of or even the best quality, will develop stress cracks from the vibration of the car and the road.

Also, if you go with the RK Sport kit, the do still make the door strikes which is another benefit over the drift kit.

yeah i saw that, they cost extra but are well worth it.
the cheapest i found for the rksport kits was at Lmpracing.com for $900. nearly half off what rksports.com wants.

Check out Gravana Tuning, I think the RK kit is just a little over $900 and they have outstanding service. A LOT of people here on the ORG buy from Gravana and seems like everyone is satisfied with their service. I know I love them!

I have the bomber front end on my 02 sunfire, it was the duraflex one..The roads are pretty bad here at times as well but the front end held up pretty well and also my car is dropped. The only thing it didnt hold up to was a snow bank that I had hit because of the icy roads.
