Hi,
I have a bit of plans going for my car which is a very slow progress but im starting my project on a faster pace now. I will be getting a bodykit soon and I've never bought a fiberglass bodykit before and im wondering if fiberglass can handle everyday beating on the road for daily driving. Thing is i drive my car to work and back almost 80 miles round trip. I've seen fiberglass parts getting cracked over time so can anybody who had a fiberglass front bumper tell me their experience with them? Thanks.

i have a fiber glass body kit on my car and i have had it on the car for about 2-3 years now and i drive it all year round. i have some stress cracks in the frt bumper but thats because i never braced the bumper so it was very flexable so when i hit bumps and stuff it would move. after i had the bumper painted and stress cracks fixed i braced the bumper and so far every thing looks good no stress cracks, also long as u brace ur kit well u should be fine.
watch out for the parking blocks and coming in to driveways make sure you come up at a good angle, especially if the car is lowered. i learned the hard way that the parking blocks are not your friends! its all good now, ive learned my lesson
Depends on your driving style and what the roads are like. I have a fiberglass buddy club 2 that I chopped in half to lower it an extra inch and had no issues with it; but then again I do not drive like a mad man around town.
They are also a lot easier to fix.
