That's not too bad... how did you do that?
Garage door bottom. it comes in 16' rolls and is L-shaped. double sided tape around the bottom of the bumper(good stuff, not junk). and just run the garage door bottom around the bottom of the bumper sticking it to the tape.. then follow up with a few self tappers around the underside.. to get the point in the front i cut a small strip of aluminum and bent it to an L-shape and screwed it behind the lip so it presses the lip outward in that spot
Dude i say a HOW TO thread would be killer.... About how much for everything?
ooh im gonna guess high here and say 15 for the door bottom, 15 for the DBL sided tape, and another 5 for the "paint for plastic"... ull need sharp scissors and a box cutter, some screws, a drill, and a good eye and some patience.. sorry for no HOW TO but i didnt take pix of my progress.. i actually drove around for awhile w/o it painted and that looks good too so u can shave another 5 off the cost.. not bad for around 30 bucks
Yeah that's what i mean... there is no real normal lip kit... and i htink it would look good with my GT skirts possibly.
interesting.how bout you make a how to on side skirts and rear bumper with this now since you did'nt take pics with the front?
Dude i am digging this a LOT... i think this might be a VERY near future thing to do... i think it will look great on my GT...

It would look good all the way around i think too....
SC how did you get the nose to get the perfect angle on it? I think i like it better not painted....
i wont be making side skirts or rear lip.. the car doesnt need it imo.. the front is just enough to accent the stock skirts and the rear is to rounded and has no edge to mount a lip to
Ah... oops sorry dude.. lol..
IMO, No...........Good idea, Bad execution.
I would say just buy the WW lip. You can probably find a used one for cheap
ok,well i think i'll be doing at least the front soon after what i've seen,i like it,and for that price if i'm out 15 bucks i'm out 15 bucks, i'm gonna try and do an all around,if there's any success i will post up a small photoshoot.
its all good Mike.. everyone has different opinions and ur all entitled to it... but i must say i think ur making it sound alittle to easy to find a used WW lip for cheap.. link me to one and ill send the seller the money tomorrow.
I get what you are saying, It wont be 20-30 cheap, but nowhere near as expensive as new.
The only car's I have seen pull this lip off on occasion are the srt4's. But if you like it, go for it man. Just my opinion
i wouldn't of painted it.

Yessir, i understand. The Neons have a 100% rounded bumper so it is def. easier.

exactly, but like i said im still getting use to it and it may be temporary anyway till i just tear it off, come up with a better idea, or find a WW lip.. but for now this will hold me over
and about the whole painted or not painted thing... i tried it for awhile unpainted and now i painted it. its just trial and error.. consider me the ginny pig.. if i dont like it painted ill rip it off and start over lol
