Cavalier Stock Fogs 00+

Do they come outta the bumper (the actual fog light assembly) if so how? Im tired of rollin around with no fogs and I dont wanna switch back to the z24 bumper, so other than buyin cheap crappy UGLY (keyword) fogs, I'm tryin to see if I can just use the stock ones. As well as a method to attach them somewhere BEHIND the bumper/grill. It was done once that I've seen by someone else I just don't remember how. And where I'd like them to be mounted definitely and unfortunately doesnt line up with anything solid to mount to lol

Just the hood and my spare parts. Im keeping the kit the drop and the lights lol I gotta like what Im driving, Im not gettin a new car for at least a year. If I were getting the new car right away I'd part out the entire thing lol I love this front, so I want my fogs back lol I never put the stock front or sides up for sale, just the rear.

gotcha,so where was it you were wanting to mount them?

the outer holes in the bumper (not the tiny ones the ones above lol I'd LOVE to find a set of fogs that fit those tiny holes but ya right lol) If I absolutely have to I'll mount 'em in the middle mouth opening but far apart, not together in the middle :s lol, but I'd really like to keep 'em on the outside, just structure wise I dont see it possible.

Stock fogs are somewhat deep and have two bolts and an adjustment wheel to mount. I honestly don't think they'll work for you with that bumper. Def go aftermarket.

Buddy en made some brackets for our friend jeff to mount stock fogs behind his type j. Think they just used some strap steel. bent and made a L bracket for each stud to slide into and bolted it to the rebar. I
I cant find any pics of the actual bracket but here are some of them installed
Excuse his stock gap and no mesh.

Before paint with mesh

how about stock 95-99 fog lites? they mount to the actual metal bumper rather then the cover like the 00-05

The stock fogs are bulky as mentioned above which is why I went with Hella 1300 fogs mounted to the metal bumper...

if it were me, i would get some small projector fogs, and mount them behind the bumper in the small holes.

Something like these should have the right sized lens for that hole......but i dont know the actual dimensions of the whole in the bumper to verify.

I've got H3 Luminics Ultra White bulbs in them. They're not aimed properly(my HID system is more than enough at night) but I'll try to get some shots tonight

Yeah the only problem with those John is I think they're ugly lol And the small holes on the sides where I'd love to fit fogs are about the size of a Toonie/Loonie. lol I just want pretty much what Cruisin posted actually, maybe a bit smaller. Clear chrome fogs. plain and simple lol Cuz Im gonna put yellow bulbs in em.

Cruisin - Thanks man I look forward to the pics I appreciate the help.

The last pic makes the output look horrible but I put my Z24 front on without adjusting them from the BC front. The output really is good as I've had them on without a bumper, hope this helps

I know most of the new Chevy fogs like on the cobalt and impalas look pretty small and might work for you. I know theyre expensive but you might be able to find a deal on something.
