So i just recently removed my battery and placed it in the trunk so i can build a custom intake but was wondering what is the easiest way to remove the battery tray? Any info would help. Thanks

If you look at the battery tray closely you will see several plug welds. If you drill them out then the battery tray comes right out.

get a spotweld drill bit, 5/16 i think and drill out the spot welds. making sure not to drill too far and drill into the frame rail. with a spot weld drillbit its harder to go all the way through. it doesnt take long to go through the tray, best way is to start on the end, drill a bit and when you think you went through take a prybar and pry up on the try in that area to break it free and work your way through. just dont want to drill too far then you will have a circle left in the frame rail or a hole if you go all the way through. won't really hurt much if you do, but it looks better if you dont.
then you can sand and paint the area and make it look like nothing was ever there.

thanks guys. after a few long hours i was able to cut drill and pry it out
