Well earlier this summer I tried to have my front and rear lips put back on the car after winter,(I took them off for winter, and I plan to do so in the future) and couldn't find the clips anywhere. My body man said the only place to get them is at the dealer. I went to the dealer and they tell me the clips can only be used once, and they are $9.99+Tax EACH!!! Is there anywhere online where I can get these clips for cheap? I don't want to be spending almost $300 every spring to put my Lip Kit back on...
2002 Cavalier "LS Sport"
I've used push in "Christmas Tree" types that work good. They are 3/8" thick.. wedges in there real nice. You will also notice some holes on the backside of the lips, perfect for some small self-tapper screws to go up through into the bumper for a definitely more secure hold.
Here is a pic of what I am talking about, any part store should have them
^^try the clips i'm talking about just push the lip through the bumper and then push those pins through the hole of the clips on the lip.. works real well.. cheap too

I don't understand why you can't use those clips again. I reused mine on my old car when I took the lip off and never had any problems with them.
I think its just the dealer trying to get some extra money.
^i've used them over again! just bend them up alittle so its a tight fit!
