so im wanting to buy 8k or 10k HIDs, i was doing some research, theyre illegal unless i have a projector. ive been looking around on the site and i hae a 97 Sunfire Gt, was wondering what i could do to get some peojectors, so i can emmit some of the glare from the drivers, if u can please help me out i would appreciate it

Thanks for the reference, Gary, I got your pm, and have been responding. I just came across your thread here. I figured I should point out, that HID systems, even when in projectors are "illegal" unless the car came with them from the factory. It is definitely a great improvement to use them in a projector system, but it does not make it legal.
Unless your talking about the fashion police... Projectors in stock housings is a bad look for most cars.

Dont lie. You CAN make them look good
And yes the 'fashion police' are annoying. With a sunfire however IMO you can get away with it looking like it came that way or was a 'direct replacement'. But throwin HIDS in a stock housing without a projector will get you more heat.
Speaking from experience though I'd suggest 6000k and under. 8-10 you get purple and they're not as bright as you think they are, especially in fog and rain lol
