I have a funny and also very crap story about what happened to my car. First i will just give some background. I had my sunfire about a year, i got in an accident about a month and slowly been sanding the car down to paint and filling holes and al this bodywork nonsense and thats done. I go to school and work so i dont have alot of time to work on it and i been driving my sisters car. This weekend my dad offered to primer my car. He is actually a really good painter and is probably better than i am. So i said sure since i just want to get it painted and done. I had all the materials in a box for primercoat, base, clear. and what not. When I came home my dad had some bad news. The primer has some major peel and its on super thick, and is not drying (after about 12 hours). Sooo my dad was like idk what i did different and i came to relize he mixed up the bottles. He mixed the clear coat hardener with primer.... It has still not dried so we cant sand it off... pretty crap (this is after about 30 hours haha), today were ripping out the acitone.. let the stripping begin. If he wasnt letting me use his brand new Nitro i would have probably been pretty angry.

So the painting of my car has been delayed, i said would post some pics this week but its prolly gonna end up being next week.

that sucks.
does anyone really know what your car looked like to begin with?
