Man, I gotta say my love for RKSport is starting to fade...
I was very excited to get the new catalog in the mail, but it has ZERO new products for the Cavs and Fires (for the second year in a row).
What's up guys? Have you decided that we are no longer worth your R&D?
Believe me, I understand the need to expand into different cars and trucks, but they have completely abandoned the very people who helped build their business.
Just because they don't make the Cav anymore does not mean we won't buy new stuff!
I'll still buy some of their stuff this year, but I wanted to vent my frustration so that hopefully they'll take notice. My car is a virtual museum of their greatest work.

Yeah, but keep in mind, Chevy has discontinued the Cavalier. An entirely new market for Cobalts has opend up. Are there any new parts for Cobalts in the RKSport catalog?

you knwo after about 7-8 requests or the 04 catalog... they still haven't gtten me it, an entire year and they can't even get a catalog right..... your disappointment is understandable.... RKSport can suck my @!#$in dick
i got the catalog a few days ago ( lol actually my second catalog they have sent me in a month for the 05 year) and im disappointed as well....no new products at all for the Cav... i want something new that no1 has yet damnit
understandable the market is dying for cavaliers since no longer being produced, just gotta understand that its hard to market products when there isnt a continuing market. I am just as upset, but from their aspect i understand that money put in a new product line for a car which will be continued further on is much more worth it.
So what, they dont make the style honda civics from the 90's anymore, but hell, companies will continue to pour out with the parts for them. I'm dissapointed in RKSport myself, at least come out with a new piece of carbon fiber or something.
Well, go back and read what you all are saying in this post. Would you want to make new products for somebody who bitched and moaned like that? I was very impressed with the catalog. I think they did a very smart thing by offering products for all the other vehicles.

They acutally send me two magazines at once. Anyways, I really like that they expanded their market to include other cars which not a lot of companies are making parts for. I agrees, the cavalier is being discountinued so why should they keep making parts for it. There are plenty of parts out there for the j-bodies. When are u guys going to realize that there will never be as many parts for j-bodies as there are for civics or other popular imports.
I got mine in the mail, looked at the parts for the Cobalt and GTO, saw that they are still way overpriced, and promptly threw in in the recycle bin.

so why does rk sport cater to other manufacturers now? i thought thats what really made them stand out from the rest of the other companies is that they had mainly catered to gm and only gm

You notice they still make stuff for the Firebird and Camaro maybe they will do the same for our J bodies if interest in the cars continues as it has for the Camaro and Firebird.

only thing that disapointed me was they still offer only 1 hood for the 03-05 cavs. however the catalog made me want an 05 mustang gt more than ever...

LOL^^ Not to say I'm disapointed with Rksport but I guess I was expecting some new stuff, However I will still look at buying some of the older products..cause they are about the only place can find CF engine Accessories..
