Is this a good price on a 2003 sunfire?

$4,999,

5-speed, ecotec (duh), pretty much no options at all (actually what I want) , he has aftermarket wheels on it (which I like), and slotted rotors. It has $68,XXX miles, tinted windows, everything else is stock.

It's in great shape, one or two scratches. Well taken care of, lots of hwy miles.

KBB has it at just under 5 grand for private party, and I know they usually run high, but all the freaking dealerships are selling similar cars like this between $7,000-$9,000 it seems.

any help is appricieated

thanks

Will

take a loan out for what the dealers are selling it for,
but this at $5000 and put the rest into a turbo kit.
gut it, and then sell the parts, take the money from the parts and then make it faster.

oh so fun...

Financing mods is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard here.

I didn't mean take out a loan to pay for mods, but the you should make it into a quick little sunfire by turbo or s/c imo.

you merely agreed with the post you quoted, without clarifying just what you found agreeable...

Yes, this is a good price. I love how posts go so far out of subject.

Well I got it! Drove down to St. Louis and picked it up for $4,600, had quite a few nicks and scratches in it, nothing major but I'm picky, and was able to talk the guy down a bit. Cool part is it has slotted rotors, and ceramic pads, (not something I would have probably ever bought but its nice to have) Tinted windows (saves me from having to do/pay for it) and 16" Kazera KS-V wheels, and since I would have gotten aftermarket wheels someday, that saves me another $500+ (they are $120 a piece from tire rack). They are a pretty light wheel too, 16.5 lbs. a piece, not bad, not awesome but right around what I would have been looking for. If I ever learn to post pics I will, Oh and its Dark Blue. Intake/exhaust, & lowering coming soon...
