All kinds of parts no time.
Wednesday, January 17, 2007 12:10 PM
Well i have got my self all kinds of parts but i have no time to put them on. I dont want to pay anyone to do it, i want to put as much of my own hands into my car as i can so that its somthing i done, not somthing somone els has done for me.

I work on the other side of the country from where my car is so the time i get home is with my GF an Family. I started my 01sunfire gt project as soon as i got the car 2years ago and iv got some things on it but now that im away i got a barn full of parts and no time to put it all one. My plan is to put them all on this coming summer. It will be pritty much a full build including turbo kit and everything els. There is some ods an ends on the car now but nothing big besides a system and pullys intake small stuff.

My questions is, If i were to strip my car ( being my first ever car build ) starting June 07 With 2months to work on the car, could i get a complete build done ( im talking bored engine ) internals dif pullys, body kit, turbo, feul system, oil system, inside the car custom EVERYTHING! ground up build, can it be done? with a few good friends a good machanic on hand if and when needed, access to all the tools i need and ton or 2 ton of beer. 2months? can i do it to race and show the car?

kind of a question to ask yourself. u tell us if u can. im sure i could do it if i had 2 full months with no distractions. how good are you with cars? how much knowledge do you have? how often if ever have u ripped down a J and put it back together?

see, i know what size pretty much every single bolt on the car is so i know what wrenches id need for each thing, etc etc so i could rip right thru it.

idk man, like i said, u tell us.

good luck
