stock knobs are pressed on , no threads
you would have to epoxy it on.....and thats just half asses and stupid.

To clarify that point, Toyota sold lightly modified American-made Cavaliers for the Japanese market. GM still produced them.

AWD GS: So picky, okay, so Toyota BADGED a Cavalier and sold it as their own.
The original owner of the car bought one of those cheap short shifters from eBay with the knob fixed/forged atop it.
No budging. It's attatched. Lame! I guess I'll be buying a s(new/real) short shifter...B&M most likely.
toyota didnt do anything but sell it. everything was done here at gm then just shipped over then sold.
Really, did it take 2 posts to ask this questions?
