I came across a great deal on a 5 speed 2005 cav coupe with 68k miles for $3000...Seller works at a reputable shop here in town and said the car came in non-running and owner left it. He tore it open and replaced valves and timing chain but stated there was no internal damage. He said it looked like the chain just jumped the teeth or something to that effect. Should i be worried about anything in particular since the chain was replaced so early? Everything else seems fine and the car runs perfect.
In my understanding the stock chain on these is some of the cheapest ever made(not really but ya know). So would I worry...Na. Maybe run the block numbers, you know that saying, if it's to good to be true, you'll most likely get screwed. Best of luck as to what you decide.
Z doesn't mean last, it just lapped A.
