I have been looking to replace my 2200 with some more grunt. My friend has an LD9 and Getrag 5 speed with 200k miles on it. He told me he'd sell the engine, trans, wiring harness, and PCM for $250. The engine, trans, and clutch are working great.

I plan on replacing the water pump, timing chain/ tensioner/ gears, oil pump, and possibly pulling the head to inspect the cylinder bores before I swapped it in. He hasn't done a compression check yet, but does this sound like a good deal or should I look for something lower mileage?
