Car broken into(driver side door lock busted)
Friday, November 28, 2008 9:17 AM
So someone punched out my lock and I'm pretty sure took nothing from my car(only have 6 year old stereo in it). Key doesn't turn in the lock anymore. I have automatic locks but no alarm/remote entry.

I think for the meantime I will get JB weld to put the lock back in place and use the passenger side until I get it fixed. I can either get an alarm and remote entry and shave the locks or get the lock fixed. I don't want to spend too much money though on my 98 2 door. I live in the Detroit area Ann Arbor for school.

What should I do? I have a 2 way pager alarm from 6 years ago that I chose not to install but I think a remote is missing for it anyway so I don't think this alarm kit is an option unfortunately.

Thanks

put on jb weld stick

plan on getting alarm installed with remote start too for christmas(I will be away at school until then)

when I get the alarm installed hopefully I can have the shop shave the locks or at least the driver side one..probably only that one

thoughts?

wouldnt it look kinda wierd with only one lock shaved?? also, if you dont plan on modding the car, i would get the lock fixed ethier way cuz itll look funny with a handle and no lock IMO
