I am helping out a friend who has a problem with his 2003 Cavalier.
His cluster now says "ERROR" where the millage is. We replaced the cluster to see if maybe the cluster was bad (read a thread here about that), but the error is still there. He hasn't done anything new to his car in a month or so, so its nothing thats been installed. He has the basic bolt ons (intake, exhaust, mounts. shift plus). Its an Ecotec with an auto.
Any ideas?
Check to make sure the battery is not grounding on anything, and that the computer is plugged in properly....I had this happen to my car when my computer fell out.
(from an accident)
^^^^ hahahahaha! awesome!
bad BCM? Thats where the cluster gets its information
i know when i disabled the drl's i forgot to plug the plug back in and thats what it said.
