Jerking...

I have a 97 Automatic Z24 and every once in a while, it'll jerk around 45-55MPH on flat road and always jerks at that speed going uphill. Thanks in advance for any responses!

How are the plugs? Worn? New? Cracked?

the driver jerking the steering wheel on random occasion

my first thought is to take it to lesh schwab or any reasonable tire store and have them do a full suspension inspection (they shouldnt charge you very much or anything @ all)

I say les schwab cause i buy my tires from them and they don't charge me for the inspection plus they have a rack to lift the car off the ground... saves me $50 for having to rent a shop stall for 3 hours to inspect it my self

no clue what may cause it but there is my 2 cents on the topic... give your local tire suspension, speed shops a call and see what they would charge you for doing the inspection

Is it a misfire? Sounds similar to what my Sunfire was just repaired for. Turns out the Ignition coil housing was bad. Would only misfire at low RPM's when you'd give it gas. Never threw a code though.
