Hey everyone, I just bought a 97 Sunfire, and I believe that the clutch has gone out on it but before I do an install I wanted to make sure it wasn't the slave cylinder. Is there anyway to check to see if the slave is functioning properly? (on a side note I still have all of my clutch fluid in the resevoir) and are there any cluthes out there that you would recommend keeping in mind that the car is bone stock. If there is any other information that you need feel free to let me know.

I would buy a new oem clutch kit. Then you will get a new slave. I had a 2000 cav that the slave went out in but it was leaking fluid into the trans, It wouldn't hurt to replace both, let alone cost too much more.
