Okay, so I had my AC serviced last year because I finally gave up after replacing just about everything on my AC and it still not working. Turns out a wire was burned out and the computer was bad, so I got it fixed. Well I haven't used it in a while and when I finally used it my AC does not work. I noticed my freon leaked out behind the compressor where the in and out hose is with that one stupid screw. I took the screw out replaced the little quarter sized gaskets and added freon and it leaked out again from the same spot. I tried tightening the screw it helped but it still leaked.
Do I need to replace that hose or is there some sort of glue or sealing solution for the gasket? Please help.
You should have put some PAG oil on the seal. But you may also just have a bad compressor or hose. Did you have the compressor replaced last year? Did you use A/C gaskets? They're usually green.

Well, I did replace the compressor but the AC shop guy said it was fine. But the gaskets that go to the compressor are metal with rubber in the middle.
