will an alternator from a 2.2 sunfire work in a 2.2 cavy??
Yes, as long as they are both pre 98 or 98 and newer. Im not sure if they changed the alternator setup when they switched from the 2.2 to the 2200 setup for the 98 model. Im a 2.4 guy but pretty much anything from a sunfire will bolt up to a cavy and cavy to sunfire.
