Understand that it went back up to where it was supposed to be.
I used to always get 28-29MPG before I added the exhaust, and then it dropped to a constant 27-28MPG.
I added the intake and it always loomed around 25-27MPG.
I analyzed this fully, and basically it is as follows.
The car is not raced, and is not driven any harder than when was stock configuration.
The O2 sensors are long overdue for replacement.
The injectors probably needed a good ultrasonic cleaning and not just some juice added to the tank.
I expected with the mods that the MPG would go up by getting rid of some carbon build-up on the valves, manifold, tb, combustion chambers and injectors.
The car has 100+k miles on it and yes it is always maintained.
Every 3k it gets an oil change with Valvoline 5W-30.
Every 15k it gets a fuel filter.
I got the plugs replaced at 95k miles.
The radiator was flushed at 75k miles.
The transmission was flushed at 75k miles.
Before the Seafoam I was getting 25-27MPG.
After the Seafoam I am getting 30MPG off the past two tanks with no difference in driving habits.
Better than when I got the car used with 35K miles!
It was from a dealership and was maintained and had all new fluids.
I honestly believe that if I get the O2 sensors replaced, the MPG will be more like 33MPG or more.
These sensors have 100+K miles on them.
Seafoam obviously wont make a car that is stock and brand new get more MPG than it did.
My engine just had some gunk build up that is now freed up thanks to the Seafoam.
The car is much more responsive too, the up and go is better.
Thanks guys for pointing out this product!

Some people think of it as "snake oil" and say it doesn't work. I have been using it since my car was new, and with the mods I have and the proper maintenance I do (mobile1 10/30, plugs, fuel filter, air filter and so on) I have an average of close to 500 miles per tank city/highway and 425 city driving for an Ecotec with an Automatic. I think thats close to 38mpg for highway and 32 mpg city. Of course driving like an ass will change that. I have also been starting to use Lucus fuel treatment, car seems to run smoother but the MPG has gone down.
I know friends who have used it, and said it really hasn't improved the mpg, but gave them a little better throttle response. Others haven't seen any improvements at all.
A guy on LS1 tech swears by Mopar top end cleaner. Supposedly it's a foam that expands. He says it works even better than Seafoam. I may pick up a can next time I'm going to seafoam something and see how it does.
