my a/c compressor is squeeling sooo bad. I don't care if the a/c ever works. so I could get one from a junk yard or just delete it and get a smaller belt right? anybody have any advice as to how to find one??

o and btw I don't care about the bypass pulley unless I need it, because I don't care if my a/c works or not. I'm selling the car in a few months anyway prob. I just want the damn noise to stop! I'm just curious as to how good this info is:

like if I just get that belt, will it work with the current pulleys w/out the compressor pulley? some guy said he tried it and his alt died soon after. my alt is brand new so I would b pissed if that happened ha

Seeing that the LD9 does not have a separate belt for the A/C, I would not do the modification.

Get a laptop with a USB to OBD2 conection, load the ECU onto the computer, click AC SYSTEM and click delete. Thats the only way I can think to delete it. You could also try removing the AC system, it may be a little harder than the delete though.

350K5 seems sometimes to fit better.

I bought and installed the 345k5 belt from Autozone and it runs like a champ! so far so good anyway. Thanx for the input tho guys. I really appreciate it
