hey guys i have a 00 cavalier 2.2 had the a/c system completely re done by a shop two years ago. tha air was cold two days ago. today blowing out hot. my gauge reads at 100-105. which it says it a probable mechanical problem. any ideas on what it could be???
i bet money you have a small leak. go to auto-zone and get a refill kit just don't overfill check the pressure gage

i have a leak somewhere in my 2200 a/c still cant find it, the regular refill and refill with stop leak both leaked right out within minutes, i might just get the belt to bypass it and say fck it!
