My car is a 98 sunfire 2.2litre 5speed. the problem i am having is the car has a hard start and also studders really bad on acceleration up to 3000rpm then it evens out. theres also a huge loss in power. also my cel came on before it started working this bad, checked it with my reader and it came evap system leak p0440 might be part of the problem maybe a seperate problem all together. i'm thinking headgasket but also have been told the sending units are terrible problems in these cars. any advise would be great thanks.

the evap code is probably a bad gas cap. the rest is a basket case. could be a bunch of things.
