Theft system reset?????

K I just found my remote function activation module and there is no reset button so how do I do the Theft system reset so my car will start??? Can someone please give me a straight answer so I can drive my car please??

turn key to on, close door. after 10 minutes, turn key off, then try to start it.




Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

i had to bypass the security system on my last j-body, pull off steering column covers and steering wheel tilt lever, underneath you will find 3 wires yellow, black, and white. i installed a toggle switch in the yellow wire flip the switch to the off position and the car should start.

or, you could do it the right way, as posted in the FAQ.

K when I try this the theft system reset the light does'nt blink or flash like it says in the FAQ that I went to and followed ,but I'm getting a new key from the dealer on Monday hope that helps start the car..

cavalier keys are not chipped. does not matter were you get them from. if you follow the instructions in the faq, and the car still doesnt start, its not a passlock issue.

and if you go by what i said it will completely bypass the passlock system

OK so this F*&%N car still won't start and its driving me crazy I tryed the FAQ page way and the toggle switch way so it is def not a PASSLOCK Issue I don't get it and can't figure it out?????????????????????????????

check the triangle. fuel, spark, and compression, then report back.

This is sounding more and more like my cav every day.


My guess is, I bet you have no spark like my cav.
