Hello, I have a 96 2.2L and recently it has been making a weird noise and the idle seems to be really low. The noise is not constant and seems to be coming from somewhere internally. It sounds like someone gargling water. It's a weird noise hard to describe. It seems to be around the alternator or behind it. I have no dash lights on. Any ideas? Thanks. ( only 86,000 on the car)
maybe air in the cooling system ! is the car hot or cold when it does it?
