Hi everyone,
I'm having another issue with my 2.4L, and kinda am looking for a few tips. My 2.4L is having an issue with stalling out. Basically, the car will start, but then immediately stalls out. I'm almost positive that this is related to either the fuel filter or injectors. Unfortunately, I have a very limited garage to work with where I'm at so the easiest possible solution would be awesome. I've noticed the stalling out happening when my tank is around 1/2 to 1/4 full, and after the car has sat for like 2 hours or so.
I am due for a fuel filter replacement, and have also noticed an issue of low rpm's at idle (ranging from 9,000 down to as low as 5,500-6,000 where the car starts to shudder). Could this be a result of poor fuel flow? I know most additives are a waste with the current fuel standards, but would an injector cleaner have any results?
I have worked around my car a lot for the last couple years (suspension, timing chains, brakes) but have not really tackled anything in regards to the fuel system so I'm kinda a noob here.
Thanks everyone!
