i have 2.2 ohv sunfire does anybody know how to prime the oilpump when replacing it with new one thanks

Theres really not a surefire way. What you can do is pour new clean oil into it and try to rotate it several turns. Or another way is to connect the pickup and submerge that into a pan of oil and rotate the pump somehow. But by the time you install it most of this will have run out. One thing you can do is once installed and ready to start the car you can disconnect the ignition coils and turn the car over a few times then hook everything back up and go ahead and start the car.
