engine sensors, they all the same?

Hey guys... just a very simple question..

I have a 99 2.4, My parents own a 98 2.2... Is the MAP sensor the same on both motors? I figure the o2 sensor is the same but am unsure about the rest.. I'd love to just pop one off and try one i KNOW works properly.. would be a nice easy way to rule out a bad sensor

Im a canuck, never used that site before.. lol.. So thats a no? blah

but to be fair... a search of the autoparts site i use, even when refining to my year and motor, yields about 10 different MAP sensors, all with different p/n's.. lol.. its actually the same with FPR's and o2 sensors as well... Since they are all basic sensors, i assumed that meant most were universal parts that could work on my application...

only GM would make things different when they dont have to.. and keeps things the same when they shouldnt.. lol..

oh well... not overly expensive anyways.. if i can totally rule out a vac leak, it wont be too bad to replace

Thanks
