I'm actually having similar troubles to a couple other guys on here but slightly different. I just got my 99 Z24 running about a week ago but my back struts are shut and I havnt been able to replace them. This didn't bother I just had to take it easy on bumps. The problem was that if I did hit a bump to hard or to many at or to many at once my car would die and not start back up. It would crank no problem but not start. However if I disconnected and reconnected the battery it would then start back up and I'd be on my way. The problem now is that the problem has escalated from only happening when I hit large bumps to just happening at random. This has been thrilling since it's been cold and rainy the last few days where I live. I'm afraid it might be the fuel pump but I really can't afford to fix that any time soon so I really hope that's not it. Please help I greatly appreciate it.
A fuel pressure test could condemn the pump, otherwise your just tossing parts
