P0300 CODE

Hey everyone Mike here . Daughter's '04 Cavi LS Sport starting running rough, stalled, just plain cruddy. Ended up with a CEL lite and a P0300 Code, Random Cyl. Mis-Fire. Any thoughts, suggestions as how to cure it without going to the dealer. Thought of checking, changing plugs, car has 94k miles on it and I am assuming they are original. Any advice would be appreciated.

Mike

Could be plugs,Some people have had issues with the coil packs also.

My multiple random misfire was solved by replacing the ICM- Ign control module.

Changed plugs and it seemed to run fine, factory plugs had 94k on them and they were pretty worn, but she drove it to school and said it is still missing, hesitating, so might try the ICM before the coil pack, those are not cheap.
