hello to all,,I am the proud owner of a 2002 Cavalier LS sport coupe 5 speed with the 2.2 ecotec that i bought new in 2001,never had a problem with it. has about 70 k on it,now one thing has me bothered about the plugs i put in a year ago Bosch Platinum+4 Spark Plug i think they were the Iridium models anyway i read some where that these plugs may burn out some module???? has anyone had a problem useing these plugs????
also has anyone changed the fluid in the manual transaxle??? owners manual says you dont have to change it unless its leaking???hayes manual says it should be changed at 50 k

burning out a module no, however, they tend to be FAR less efficient of a design as the factory delcos. gimmick plugs (multiple electrodes, e3's diamondfire, etc) are just that, marketing gimmicks. there's a reason the spark plug has not changed much over the years
for the manual trans, yes, change it. gm never intedned the car to go past 100k, it was an entry level throw-away car. your '02 will take 2 quarts of ATF on a change.

also where is the fill point for the transaxle??? and the drain???
found the red plug for filling the trans,,but where is the drain plug????
