i hooked up a code reader to figure out my service light and why im getting bad mpg.
the reader says my air intake temp is -40 degrees i replaced the senser and it still says the same i traced the wires as far as i could into the harness and they appear to be fine
has any one else had this problem or any suggestions? ive ran out of ideas

i tried 4 different ones 3 from a junk yard and i bought 1 brand new and it still dose it. The only thing i can think of is the wireing harness got messed up when i rolled my 2000 sunfire
6 times last year in august then i bought my 96 and used all my same parts and ive had this problem ever since i switched everything and i did everything as i did before.......?

its fine. -40 is some cold ass air, you get bad mpg cuz its dumping in fuel and advancing timing. just like a resistor mod. ebay would be proud.

seriously though, check for continuity all through that circuit, something is off somewhere
