so im looking at replacing the engine in my sunbird GT i have found a sunbird with a 1.8 OHC will it work if i install it and dont swap the harness to keep the turbo Performance parts? i dropped taplets from the ohc into an oil passage when i was redoing the headgasket and my Firebird just broke down so any info would help greatly are they the same engine or does the Turbo have Different parts all together?

well im changing my question what do i have to do to a 1.8 to make it match up to a 1.8t car?and keep the turbo
