1997 Z24 2.4

I had a noise that sounds like a bearing going. I replaced it and it didn't fix the sound so I took it in and they said the mounts are SHOT.

First, I don't think shot mounts would make a bearing type of noise, but if they are shot I want to replace them.

Can anyone give me tips or a quick run down on how hard the upper and lower passangerside mounts are?
