i have a 2002 cavalier that has an electrical problem. when i turn the key on the radio works, wipers work and blower motor works. But the dash warning lights do not come on the fuel gauge does not move either. and the engine cranks but will not start. it seems like when the dashboard quits working it cranks but wont start. if the dash lights up it will start. please any help would be greatly appriciated.

did you do anything to your dash recently? when i took out my dash for a tach i was installing, my car would crank but not start (with no dash plugged in).....take out your cluster and check to make sure all the wires are plugged in...i know my 96 would crank but not start when i had nothing connected
