Power Steering Pulley

Ok so most of you guys probably seen my posts about the noisey belts and alot of people told me tensioner and belt replace. it's a new belt and tension is good(auto tensioner). i read somewher online that of you turn the belt around, maybe it stops the noise so i figured, it takes like 5 minutes to do, why not try it....in short, belt off, i can pull the power steering pulley out and push it in only a Very little though, but enough to make a click sound when it moves in....is there a way of just replacing the bearing inside? or new pulley? or i gotta do the whole pump?

gonna guess that little wobble is causeing my belt to walk a little causeing a squeal

You can't just replace the bearings in the power steering pump.
Replace it if it's wobbling and causing you issues.
Or, you could just eliminate it in the sake of weight savings while you connect your high pressure line with your return line from your power steering to get manual steering.
Problem solved and a touch of released power that was robbed by the pump.

Good luck.

Yup, pretty much.
I would think that the pulley is going to come with the new power steering unit.
Power steering pump will cost you from 35 bucks to about 50 bucks for a remanufactured unit where you use your old pulley.
Not bad and I got that information from RockAuto.com.
Good luck.

I would also add, spend the few bucks and get the new pulley. If you can move it on the old pump, either ur pump where the pulley connects is bad, or ur pulley's mounting hole is a little worn out. So, get the pump with reservior and the pulley, and eliminate anything that could possibly go bad. Goodluck.
