I need some advice on this issue I am having..... I just bought a 2005 LS (5 speed) cavy 2 days ago and all seemed well until last night. All the sudden it wouldn't start. I think it *may* have something to do with the security system because the anti theft light is blinking and the car will not start. We tried everything, disconnecting the battery, etc. Anything I can do besides taking it to the dealer or is that my only option? I really do not know much about cavaliers yet :/
Also, the key that they gave me when I bought it is a little on the rough side. But that is all that I have to work with...

Thank you so much! I actually tried that and it let me drive 1 mile then shut off. I had it towed to a shop and they advised me to reset the entire passlock system for good.....by buying this unit for about 170 bucks to totally bypass the system. I think this is the route to go because I found out the above is only a temporary fix. Thanks again!
