i have a 2000 z24 and i am pulling the motor on it and i have everything disconnected, i have all the bolts out that are holding the tranny to the motor and the torque converter bolts out. the motor and tranny will not come apart it has a small gap from where it is trying to seperate but will not come fully out...could the torque converter be holding me up?..any answers will help a lot.

you undo the torque converter bolts?

Why arnt you pulling the transaxle with the motor like your supposed to?

Ones its ALL out, just remove the bell housing bolts, slide it back a little, remove the Torque converter bolts, then it will slide right off.
