Anyone have a good fix or spend the couple hundred on a new one? the hoe is in the plastic on the top right edge. the mounting tit that goes up threw the rubber gromet broke off. I have a 5/8 bolt and teflon tape screwed in the hole at the moment. not leaking but i don't trust it!

There is a putty that is made to fix radiators. I personally wouldn't trust it but if your in a pinch, may not be that bad.

Radiators are only a little over $100 from most auto part stores. can find them around $70 with free shipping on e-gay.

Just get a new rad, it has a warranty.

This. Its ur best bet since ur will be out whatever u spend on the putty and such. Then u will still need a new rad. If ur really hurting go to the junkyard and grab one.

I would go NEW from autozone, advance, oreallyS(poking fun) napa new rad, warr, you are going to have to replace it at some point due to failure, crappy fix fails, and buying a used rad, maybe lower cost but,it could fail to based on poor maintenance that YOU never see inside it.Fix it correct the 1st time, and lower cost, less work for you,and less breakdown time if towed.Good luck

I have had cars in the past bite me in the butt because I cheaply "fixed" the radiator. Listen to all the wise people and replace the radiator.

i think they're like 60 dollars free shipping on ebay....IMO i wouldnt try that sealer stuff unless it was a leak the size of the period to end this sentence. overheating isnt something id like to mess around with
