I have a 1994 cavalier 2.2 that I race on a quarter mile asphalt circle
Track....I recently did a motor swap after slinging a rod and piston through the block...after motor swap, the motor is getting fuel and fire and runs fine when spraying gas into intake but won't run on it's on....I'm pretty sure the injectors aren't pulsing at all is my problem, does anyone know why??? Thanks in advance
If you do in fact have fuel pressure at the rail... I'd say bad injectors. Ohm out the injector with them disconnected from the harness. Not sure what they should be... I know my old beretta was like 12+ was good but not sure for your car.
Sounds like the injectors are not being told to fire. Could be a ECU issue, could be a wiring issue. Is everythng connected?
What year motor did you install?
FU Tuning
Yes, I do have fuel pressure at the rail...and the motor is out of the same year car, are there any fuel injector fuses or relays? And how could I tell if my ecu is bad?
