Good evening folks,
Straight up I am not going to even try to sugar coat my laziness. I am to exhaust and to lazy to look through a hundred posts to find a few socket sizes. Since I do not have the car at my house I need to know a few socket sizes before I go out to the junkyard tomorrow.
I just needed to know the following socket sizes.
Brake light lens
Fender bolt
Side view mirrors (not the sails, that is a phillips screw)( swapping back to stock mirrors)
Thanks for any info. Sorry for the laziness. Long day at work and longer evening writing a paper about operating systems for my POS355 class in my Bachelors program.
pretty sure a deep well 10mm and 13mm will cover those.also pretty sure if you carry a 7mm,10mm, 13mm, and 15mm you can take off just about anything on the car haha
i know the brake light s are 10mm. but i hate the garbage tin nuts that hold them on. i have also had the stud brake off and had to hold them with vice grips to not completely rip them out of the light
yeah pretty much a7, 10, 13, 15, and you can do about anything you want on a J.
FU Tuning
As I've had all 3 of those items off my car within the last 36 hours, you can pull off all 3 items with a 10mm socket.
"Oil Leak ? What oil Leak ? Oh, Thats Just The Sweat From All The HorsePower!!"
Thanks guys for the info and not flamming me over asking such a common question.....
Does this mean that JBO is getting less hostile?
Remember the good ol' days when everybody got flammed for any question... I miss those days. People at least had some unique things to say to one another. I have to admit its nice NOT being the one getting flammed over the two dumb questions ive asked in the last week.
Well hopefully I will have some good pictures to take today and post a new update on my 2200T build with the new and improved 05 body panels.
If it were me, id just take my sockets that are on the holders with me and just put them in the car, grab a few extensions. a few different size ratchets and go to town. same with screw drivers. rather go with more than less.
