I have a l61, When changing into a gear. I notice after the rpm's start to rise to about 1,600 to 1,900 a harsh sound comes from the motor ( I believe it's the motor )
Anyone ever felt or heard this?
That didn't help at all. Thanks.
Its a harsh ass sound when in that rpm range, Its a 5 speed l61 motor.
It sounds like it is having some trouble in that RPM range.
IT SOUNDS THRASH-LIKE.
How else am I to explain. Am I to type the sound of the engine in the certain rpm range ok here.

HAHAHA
, Best bet would be a Video with sound.
You sure it's not your clutch going out, I've heard a few of those grind pretty hard if you shift into the wrong gear.
I'm no genius but a video or sound clip usually does help if you are looking for input on what the issue could be and especially if you aren't even sure if it's the motor. A little common sense is always good if you are asking for help.
