ETS Hesitation

My 97LS Hesitates when acceleration from a dead stop. Car stumbles and the Trac light comes on and off. Happens on clear days rainy days ect, Sometimes the ABS and ETS come on and stay on then go off randomly. Any thoughts?

^^^ I'm hoping for an answer to this as well. I'm having the exact same issues with my '97 Sunfire SE 2.4 Auto.

I can't type in cursive!

when that last time the fluid and filter was changed in the transmission? if the car wasn't stumbling I say it was a dirty or loose sensor.

most likely a bad wheel speed sensor. It could be giving false wheel speed data to the electronic brake control module. the ebcm will retard timing, upshift the trans and cut fuel depending of the data received from the WSS. When the WSS get wet they can produce irractic signals. The warning lights will all come on due to the bad sensor. check for codes with a scan tool that can access chassis codes. Check the wheel bearings; do any have excess play or are they making noise?

also check abs wiring near the WSS
