I got a deal on a 2.2 ecotec and 5 speed transmission and since I'm having trouble with my motor and trans, I bought it. I already took out my transmission 3-4 times but I'm wondering,
How hard is it to remove and replace with them still bolted together?
Is it worth it or just easier to unbolt them?
Do I need a lift or is there a way to pull it out from the top?

Me personally, I would take them together from the top, but if you have access to a lift, taking the sub frame down with engine and tranny is also an option.

I don't think the trans will fit between the rad and the firewall, plus the brake booster assembly is in the way. If someone managed to do it please let me know how.
